1 Corinthians
• 1Cor1:2 to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who…call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
• 1 Corinthians 1:4–5 I give thanks to my God… that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge
• 1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you…that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind
• 1 Corinthians 1:17 preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power
• 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

• 1Cor13:4–5 Love is patient &kind…doesn’t envy or boast…isn’t arrogant or rude…doesn’t insist on its own way; isn’t irritable or resentful
• 1 Corinthians 13:7–8 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
• 1 Corinthians 13:13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
