•   1 Peter 1:4 an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you

•   1 Peter 1:8–9 "love him...believe in him and rejoice with joy...obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

•   1 Peter 1:13 preparing your minds for action, & being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace…of Jesus Christ.

•   1Pet1:14-15 do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy…be holy in all your conduct
