Daniel

•   Daniel 1:8 But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank.

•   Daniel 1:13 "Then let our appearance and the appearance of the youths who eat the king’s food be observed by you”

•   Daniel 1:17 God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

•   Daniel 1:20  in every matter…about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters

•   Daniel 2:11  The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

•  …his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.”

•   Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.

•   Daniel 7:23–25 As for the fourth beast…He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High”

•   Daniel 7:27 “the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High”

•   Daniel 8:17 I was frightened &fell on my face…[Gabriel] said to me, “Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

•   Daniel 8:27 I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days…I was appalled by the vision and did not understand it.
