Ephesians

•   Eph1:4 he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

•   Ephesians 1:5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will

•   Ephesians 1:17 “that...the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom & of revelation in the knowledge of him”

•   Ephesians 2:1 “you followed the ways of this world and…the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.”

•   Ephesians 2:1–2  you were dead in the trespasses and sins…following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air

•   Ephe2:3 we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the flesh &the mind, &were by nature children of wrath

•   Ephesians 2:4-5 “because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ…it is by grace you have been saved”

•   Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.  And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us

•   Ephesians 5:4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

•   Eph5:5 everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ

•   Eph5:8-11 Walk as children of light...&discern what is pleasing to the Lord...take no part in...works of darkness, but instead expose them.

•   Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

•   Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground

•   Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

•   Ephesians 6:15 with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

•   Ephesians 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

•   Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

•   Eph6:18 “praying at all times...w/all prayer &supplication...keep alert w/all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints”
