Ezra

•   Ezra 1:1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD…might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus

•   Ezra 1:1–3 Cyrus king of Persia…made a proclamation…The LORD…has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem

•   Ezra 2:68–69 when they came to the house of the LORD that is in Jerusalem, made freewill offerings…According to their ability they gave

•   Ezra 3:11 they sang responsively, praising &giving thanks to the LORD, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever…”

    “…And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.”
